Zac Efron is a One-Woman Man

Zac Efron was one of many young celebrities featured on tonight’s E! True Hollywood Story: From A to Zac.

The 21-year-old High School Musical hunk’s career was highlighted as well as his relationship relationship with girlfriend and co-star Vanessa Hudgens.

Zac’s former Summerland co-star Lori Loughlin had this to say about the couple: “The fact that he and Vanessa have been together for so long speaks to who he is also as a person. He tends to be that one woman guy and just focus on that; again not a player, not somebody’s who’s taking advantage of this new found fame or I’m sure the many girls that are throwing themselves at him. He seems to very level headed about the whole thing.

Sonny Gives ‘Totally New Year’ a Chance

Alyson Stoner Rocks in a Totally New Year

Camp Rock’s Alyson Stoner and BFF co-stars Meaghan Martin and Roshon Fegan crunch together for a pic, ready to ‘rock’ in the new year on the set of Disney Channel’s New Year’s Eve celebration, Totally New Year.

The trio are joined by fellow actors Tiffany Thorton, Brandon L. Smith and Doug Brochu in the new series set to premiere on Disney Channel in the Spring of 2009. The series follows Sonny Munroe (Lovato) as she gets every girl’s dream come true by getting a starring role on a comedy sketch show, So Random!. Vanessa Hudgens Goes Dancing With The Stars

Vanessa Hudgens rubs shoulders with season six winner, Kristi Yamaguchi, at the season seven finale of Dancing with the Stars.

The 19-year-old singer/actress brought along her mom Gina and dancer pal Audra. Everyone cheered on Nolan, another one of Vanessa’s backup dancers from her summer concert tour, Identified. He danced in the finale show with Miss Miley Cyrus–they put on a flashy performance to her second single, “Fly on the Wall.”

Vanessa told People that this was her first show ever. She shared, “It was great!” Champion Brooke Burke’s two daughters even rushed over to her only to turn shy when Vanessa bent down to talk to them. Awww.

Introducing the Cast of ‘Sonny With A Chance’

The whole cast of Sonny With A Chance gets together for a giant group shot against a big apple red background and JJJ would like to introduce you to the sweet six!

The series is about a talented Midwestern girl Sonny Monroe, played by Demi Lovato, who gets the chance she’s been dreaming of when she’s cast in the most popular sketch comedy series for kids and tweens, So Random.

But who exactly are her friends?

Sterling Knight, 20, plays Chad and has a role next to Zac Efron in the upcoming movie, 17 Again.

Tiffany Thornton plays Tawni Hart and you’ll recognize her from other Disney Channel shows such as Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place.

Brandon Smith, 19, stars as Nico and is another Disney Channel alum and if you have ever seen Phil of the Future, you’ll remember him as Pim’s friend, Lil’ Danny Dawkins.

Allisyn Arm and Doug Brochu round out the cast of this new series, premiering February 2009.

In the series, Nick, Kevin and Joe star as not all surprisingly, rock star brothers Nick, Kevin and Joe Lucas. Set in New Jersey (where they grew up), the brothers attend private school Horace Mantis Academy with their longtime friend, Stella Malone (Chelsea Staub). They also meet a self-proclaimed #1 JONAS fan, Macy Misa (Nicole Anderson), who is Stella’s best friend.

Since Stella believes that fashion is a sixth sense and finds a lot of ways to personalize their school uniforms, how will she personalize Nick, Kevin and Joe’s? The series premieres in 2009.

Demi Lovato is a Sonny Bee

Demi Lovato is bee-utiful in this new still from her new show, Sonny with a Chance.

The 16-year-old actress is sure busy as a bee right now - being one of Entertainment Weekly’s Breakout Stars of 2008 and Seventeen mag’s Style Stars. She also stopped by the premiere of Twilight, where she rubbed elbows with Paramore’s Hayley Williams.

Sonny with a Chance follows a talented Midwestern girl who has won a nationwide talent search to move to Los Angeles and stars in a popular television series. The series will premiere on Disney Channel in February 2009.

Brenda Song Passes The Plate

Brenda Song is returning as the host of Disney Channel’s short series, Pass the Plate. She’s even bringing her little brother Nathan with her too!

Pass the Plate is a multicultural series where kids can learn about food from all around the world. It’s also designed to help kids and their families understand more about eating healthy.

Hilary Duff Scores Own NBC Show

Hilary Duff will start in her own TV series on NBC, reports Variety.

The deal with NBC also will have the 21-year-old singer/actress meet with writers and choose which current NBC shows to guest star in.

NBC Entertainment exec VP Teri Weinberg said they signed the Duffster because she has a “huge following”.

Hil will next be seen in the 2009 features Safety Glass, Stay Cool and Greta.

The Jonas Brothers are the Lucas Brothers

JoBros will being shooting their Disney Channel series starting on Monday according to Access Hollywood.

The series will be called Jonas, referring to the street they live on. The trio plays three brothers in a band known as the Lucas Brothers!

The “bonus” Jonas (Frankie) will be making recurring guest appearances.

The series is scheduled to debut next Spring. “It’s going to be a funny show and it’s going to be a great cast,” Joe said. “I’m really excited!”

Demi Lovato’s New TV Show: Sonny With a Chance!

Demi Lovato’s upcoming Disney Channel TV show is called Sonny With A Chance, reports Spanish magazine Para Todos.

“It’s about a girl named Sonny having a chance to make it in [show] business,” the 16-year-old Camp Rock star tells the mag. “We filmed the first episode and we will continue to film the series through the next few months.”

Sonny With a Chance is set to air in February or March 2009.

Demi’s debut album, Don’t Forget, is due out in stores TOMORROW, September 23rd. She tells Para Todos that she doesn’t have any big plans to celebrate: “I’m actually going to be working, so I haven’t really planned a party, but I might just have a bunch of people over and have pizza or something.”

And who does she look up to for fashion inspiration? Lindsay Lohan. “I think her style is awesome,” Demi shared. “She’s one of those very fashionable people, so who wouldn’t love her style. I also like Keira Knightley’s style, she has great style.”

UPDATE: There’s a slight chance the show is called Sunny With A Chance but I’m told during the interview, Demi was asked to spelled it out and she said: “S-O-N-N-Y”!

Selena Gomez sat down with Extra! to talk about her reported feud with fellow Disney star Miley Cyrus. Here’s what the 16-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place star had to say:

On the untruth behind the reported rivalry between her and Miley Cyrus: “It’s just the media wanting something to talk about and wanting us to fight…and there’s nothing there to talk about.”

On how she deals with false media reports: “Everywhere you go you hear things that are untrue…You just got to learn that if I don’t say it, physically out of my mouth, on camera, it’s not true.”

On how she handles her rising fame: “It’s overwhelming and there’s a lot to think about…to know there are hundreds of kids out there that look up to me. I know that’s a big responsibility. I am also very confident to say that it is wonderful and I’ll do my best that I can do to be the best role model I can be.”

On crediting her mom for keeping her grounded in reality: “My mom’s there to say, ‘The moment I see you get big headed or changing, I will drag you right back home to Texas and we are moving away from here.’”

On what she has downloaded on her iPod: “On my Ipod right now is my best friend Demi [Lovato], Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Jonas Brothers. Then I actually got Miley’s new CD. I really like her CD.”
